Registration is available for the Fall 2025 semester of the Miraloma Math Circle!

Please note: The Miraloma Math Circle is only open to Miraloma Elementary School students.

For Fall 2025, we will be expanding to two classes, one for 3rd graders and one for 4th-5th graders. Each class will have 20 students.

Registration will be first come, first served for the first 15 spots in each class; should demand exceed the 20-student capacity, enrollment of the remaining 5 spots will be determined by the teachers and Principal Reid.

Families who want to register after the first 15 spots in a class have been filled should join the waitlist in order to be considered for enrollment in the remaining 5 spots.

About us

At the San Francisco Math Circle, we make math accessible, inclusive, and fun!

The SF Math Circle is an extracurricular math enrichment program affiliated with the Center for Science and Math Education at San Francisco State University. SF Math Circle supports students from diverse backgrounds in developing their identities as capable, confident problem solvers.

In our after-school classes and camps, we provide a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment where students explore engaging, hands-on puzzles and games that involve both creativity and critical thinking.

Students explore these puzzles and games in small groups where they have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers and to receive personalized attention and support from SF Math Circle facilitators.

Please note that our focus is primarily on helping students to engage in creative mathematical exploration and problem-solving rather than building their skills in arithmetic or other traditional K-12 math.

Our Classes

Classes meet once per week for 1 hour. Students spend the majority of the period exploring in small groups. There are typically 15-20 students per class and 4-6 students and one SF Math Circle facilitator per group.

Cost & Financial Aid

The tuition for the Fall 2025 term is $320 for the 10-week session.

We offer payment plans! If you opt for a payment plan, you can pay a portion of the full tuition upfront, and then pay the remaining amount in monthly installments.

There are 20% reduced tuition spaces (families pay 80% of the full tuition), 50% reduced tuition spaces (families pay 50%), and 90% reduced tuition spaces (families pay 10%). Please email pta.president@miralomasf.com for information about how to register for a reduced tuition scholarship space. No verification of need will be requested, but families who are able to afford the full tuition are strongly encouraged to invest accordingly.
