Come explore with the San Francisco Math Circle at the Bay Area Science Festival this spring!
We’re hosting an in-person math festival at San Francisco State University on Saturday, 4/23, where we’ll provide a bunch of our favorite puzzles and games for students to explore!

About us
At the San Francisco Math Circle, we make math accessible, inclusive, and fun!
The SF Math Circle is an extracurricular math enrichment program that helps students to develop their mathematical thinking skills in a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment.
In our after-school classes and camps, we promote positive attitudes towards math and learning through engaging, hands-on puzzles and games that involve both creativity and critical thinking.

About the event
When: Saturday, April 23, 1-3pm
Where: San Francisco State University (click for a Google Map)
Grades: K-8
Cost: $5 per student (We have a limited number of free spaces available for families experiencing financial need! See below for more details)
Covid safety precautions:
- All attendees must be vaccinated. You will be required to show proof of vaccination in order to be admitted to the event.
- All attendees must wear masks during the event.
- No food or drink will be allowed.
As part of this year's Bay Area Science Festival, we'll be hosting an in-person math festival at San Francisco State University. This math festival will be a great opportunity for students and their families to explore the fun side of math in an accessible, engaging way! It will have something for everyone, regardless of their math background.
At the festival, we'll provide a bunch of our favorite hands-on, engaging mathematical puzzles and games for students to explore. Students will be free to choose which activities to explore, and they’re welcome to explore a variety of different activities over the course of the festival.
